Mr. Bean's Holiday

Mr. Bean’s Holiday staring Rowan Atkinson and Willem Dafoe.

I’ve always like Mr. Bean and the actor who plays him, Rowan Atkinson, so when the kids and I found this on Netflix we had to give a whirl.

This is how a proper Mr. Bean movie should be, not the one that was previously done when Bean goes to America. This one feels a lot more like a Bean movie. Whereas the first one had an actual storyline and Bean seemed to be just there. This one is about Bean and everything that happens around him just happens, but Bean stays the focal point of the entire movie, granted there is a little side plot about a lost kid, but Been is still involved with it as he helping the kid to get back home.  Even the reason the kid is lost is Bean's fault.  The movie is all the better for it's focus being Bean because his character is that crazy and fun to watch. You get what you get with Mr. Bean so if you like the Mr. Bean show you’re going to like this movie. There’s not much more to write about it except the Willem Dafoe scenes are hilarious and the movie, his character, makes and shows for the Cannes Film Festival is hilarious; it really sums up the Independent movie scene extremely well.
